The Escali® DH6 is an extremely compact thermometer featuring a folding probe design and scan and hold infrared capabilities. The folding design allows the unit to collapse to approximately 4.5 inches, making it highly portable and pocket-sized. Despite its small dimensions, the DH6 includes a large backlit display that is easy to read in various lighting conditions and viewing angles. A magnet on the back of the unit enables attachment to grills or metallic surfaces for convenient access while cooking, and a hanging hole provides a storage option on hooks, preventing it from shifting in kitchen drawers. The 2.3mm folding probe is designed for ease of transport and travel to outdoor grilling locations, while the stainless steel step-down probe locks at 180° to avoid accidental folding during measurements, achieving readings within 6 seconds. It features a wide temperature range, making it suitable for meat, candy, and various other applications, with the infrared temperature range spanning -22°F to 716°F (-30°C to 380°C) and the probe range from -22°F to 572°F (-30°C to 300°C). Additionally, the unit includes an auto-off feature for energy efficiency.
