The SCMEX-20 camera is equipped with a scientific grade back illuminated sCMOS sensor featuring 16 bits grayscale conversion and exceptional 36 bits color rendering, making it suitable for brightfield, darkfield, and fluorescence microscopy. The camera includes a USB-3 data interface and is supplied with ImageFocus Alpha software, which not only captures images and videos but also enables measurements on both still and live images, along with annotations on captured images. It is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10 in both 32 and 64 bits configurations, as well as Mac OS for image capturing only. The PC requirements for optimal performance are an Intel Core2 2.8 GHz or higher (or equivalent), 2 GB memory, a USB-3 port, and a 17 inch display. Key features of the camera consist of a high-speed Sony Exmor R sCMOS color USB3.0 sensor with a resolution of 20.0 MPix, low signal-to-noise ratio, and excellent color reproduction capability. The package includes a C-mount, USB 3.0 cable, 30 and 30.5mm adapters for stereo microscopes, a 76x24mm calibration slide, and the ImageFocus Alpha software.
