CorePoint™ scientific plasma freezers are designed in accordance with FDA listed Class II medical devices and conform to the requirements set forth by AABB for the refrigerated cold storage of blood-based products. These high-performance units are backed by optimal temperature control and EPA SNAP compliant refrigerants, ensuring protection of blood, prevention of waste, and allowing for peak delivery. Plasma freezers utilize smart controllers featuring a full array of alarms, LED interior lighting, stainless steel interiors, sliding drawers, and a probe access port. The freezers are built with environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants that do not contain hydro fluorocarbons, significantly reducing global-warming potential (GWP) while complying with new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines. They are equipped with proportional integral derivative (PID) microprocessor controller technology with an LCD display.
