3M™ Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant 560 is a high-strength, single-component, moisture-curing, gap-filling polyurethane adhesive designed to create durable bonds on various materials including plastics, metals, fiberglass, and wood. This sealant provides high-strength bonding that can replace mechanical fasteners and rivets while remaining permanently elastic to accommodate joint movement. It has a skin time of 50-60 minutes and becomes paintable once the skin forms. The product exhibits good UV resistance and simplifies production processes with its one-component formulation. It is capable of bonding dissimilar materials, offering increased design flexibility, and features mid-range Shore A hardness. It is recommended for applications such as panel bonding, attaching exterior panels and metal frameworks, vehicle flooring attachment, transportation manufacturing including bus, rail, truck, and trailer applications, and serves as a replacement for mechanical fasteners in various situations.
