Gymshoe® is an exceptionally durable sport floor finish designed for high-traffic environments such as large sports complexes, higher education facilities, dance floors, and commercial spaces. It features excellent durability, enhanced traction, a clear, non-yellowing urethane formulation, low odor, and easy water cleanup. The product is suitable for new or sanded floors, requiring preparation as per NWFA or MFMA procedures, including vacuuming and using a cotton towel to remove all dust and residue. For screening and recoating, the floor must be cleaned prior to the process, utilizing Squeaky Cleaner diluted at 32 oz./gal. or 250 ml/l (1:4) with water. Application involves mixing the product with a catalyst and allowing it to stand for 10 minutes; once catalyzed, the pot life is 24 hours. The recommended application rate is 500 - 700 sq.ft./gal., with a specific pouring method to maintain a wet edge. Minimum drying time between coats is 3 hours, with a maximum of 24 hours; abrasion is required between coats if the maximum time has elapsed.
