The locking rack for 50 "Star Foot" vials is designed for the long-term storage of samples in extreme environments, accommodating 210 cryogenic vials measuring 100 x 25mm. These thick-walled tubes are equipped with leakproof silicone O-rings that ensure a tight seal at temperatures as low as -196°C. The vials are sterilized by gamma irradiation and are suitable for holding, storing, and preserving biological materials for extended periods, ranging from days to decades. The self-standing StarFoot base is designed for easy use with an included rack, allowing for one-handed installation and removal of caps. The vials come in resealable bags of 50 and are certified to be RNase, DNase, pyrogen, and endotoxin-free, ensuring their suitability for sensitive samples.
