The Chill-Its® 6667 wet evaporative cooling vest is constructed from lightweight PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) material that offers immediate cooling relief to the core area. Designed with breathable mesh panel siding for enhanced comfort, this vest features a front zipper for easy on/off and a customized fit. To activate the cooling properties, simply run the vest under water, wring it out, and no ice or refrigeration is needed. The super evaporative PVA material feels cooler than ambient air, providing cooling relief for up to 4 hours, especially in dry environments, while its effectiveness may be reduced in humid conditions. The vest is machine washable and should be hung to dry; it will stiffen as it dries but can be reactivated by running it underwater.
