The ProFlex® 1625 elastic back support brace is specifically engineered to facilitate proper lifting techniques while augmenting the body’s intra-abdominal pressure, effectively transferring stress away from the spine to provide back pain relief. It features a 7.5 in / 19 cm premium all-elastic body that delivers extra firm support, reducing lumbar strain and addressing chronic back pain. The contoured high-cut front panel ensures a comfortable fit, particularly suited for overhead lifting. Additionally, non-conductive polypropylene stays contribute to long-lasting integrity, while rubber track webbing in the interior prevents the belt from riding up. Sizing is determined by measuring the circumference around the body at the belly button, ensuring a snug fit around the hips with the front positioned two-fingers width below the navel. The brace includes an easy-to-use hook & loop closure that keeps it securely fastened, allowing it to be worn over or underneath clothing, along with adjustable suspenders for a proper fit on the shoulders. It can also be converted into a back support belt by detaching the shoulder straps. This back support is ideal for airport luggage handlers, warehouse/distribution employees, material handling, construction crews, maintenance, assembly/fabrication, landscaping/grounds, and other jobs involving heavy lifting. While the brace offers additional support, it cannot guarantee the prevention of workplace injuries or serve as a remedy for lower back pain.
