The Glowear 8217BA Class 2 Hi-Vis 5-Point Breakaway Safety Vest is constructed from durable yet breathable ANSI/ISEA compliant polyester mesh with a 5-point breakaway design that ensures maximum visibility and protection against entanglement in moving industrial equipment. This vest features a total of three strategically placed pockets, including an open-top pocket on the lower right exterior for tools and notebooks, and two interior pockets (one upper left flap open-top and one lower left) suitable for field books and other essentials. Key attributes include an upper left mic tab for holding safety glasses or pens, and 2" ANSI-compliant reflective tape for increased visibility in both day and night conditions. The vest meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R Class 2 standards and is self-extinguishing, treated to prevent after-flame, and is comfortable to wear with lowered shoulder breakaway to reduce irritation. It provides ample storage with easy access pockets and is ideal for professionals such as flaggers, airport baggage handlers, road construction workers, and various utility workers. The safety vest is not designed for use in arc flash or flash fire applications and is tested and approved to ASTM D6413 test method.
