Skullerz® Baldr safety glasses feature a full-frame design and non-slip rubber temples, ensuring a secure fit while resisting sweat. The glasses are equipped with polycarbonate lenses that provide impact protection and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. The frames are designed to bend and flex without breaking, enhancing durability, and they include integrated accessory receptors at each temple to improve airflow when accessories are not in use. For additional safety, an elastic retainer strap or foam gasket insert can be attached to the temples, sold separately. These impact-resistant safety glasses have been tested to meet ANSI Z87.1+ high-velocity impact protection and optical requirements, and they are also compliant with MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic fragmentation, Class 1, the US military standard for eyewear. To pass this standard, the glasses can withstand a steel projectile shot at 660 ft / 201 m per second, which is four times faster than the Z87+ standard; lenses must not puncture, crack, or shatter, and frames must securely retain the lenses without breaking. These glasses are suitable for various applications, including outdoor work in construction, carpentry, and landscaping, as well as hobbies such as boating, skiing, fishing, hunting, and sports. The glasses are available with lens options tailored for different tasks and lighting conditions, including clear indoor, low light, night-time with 95% visual light transmission (VLT), hazy or cloudy with 50% VLT, bright outdoor conditions with 16% VLT, and overcast or flat low light with 91% VLT. The glasses come with a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for a specified duration, ensuring reliable performance for users.
