Skullerz® Baldr safety glasses are designed with a full-frame construction and non-slip rubber temples that enhance comfort and security while resisting sweat. They come equipped with polycarbonate lenses that provide impact protection and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. The frames are engineered to flex and bend without breaking, and integrated accessory receptors improve airflow when accessories are not in use. For additional safety, optional elastic retainer straps or foam gasket inserts can be attached. These glasses are tested to comply with ANSI Z87.1+ high-velocity impact protection and optical standards, and they also meet MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic fragmentation, class 1, which requires that lenses withstand a steel projectile shot at 660 ft / 201m per second without puncturing, cracking, or shattering. The safety glasses are suitable for various applications including outdoor work such as construction, carpentry, and landscaping, as well as recreational activities like boating, skiing, fishing, and sports. Available lens options include Clear for indoor and low light with 95% visual light transmission (VLT), In/outdoor for hazy or cloudy conditions with 50% VLT, Smoke for outdoor bright light with 16% VLT, and Yellow for overcast conditions with 91% VLT.
