The V-Gard C1™ hard hat is a general purpose full-brim hard hat designed for outdoor workers in sunny conditions. It features a patent pending Reflector™ thermal barrier that keeps the inside of the hard hat up to 20°F (11°C) cooler in sunny conditions compared to a hard hat without this technology, based on testing with black, non-vented models. The hard hat includes a moisture-wicking padded sweatband with breathable foam padding for enhanced comfort and sweat management. Additionally, the V-Gard C1™ provides 12° more coverage than the standard V-Gard full-brim hard hat, offering increased shade and sun protection. Optional venting enhances air flow and cooling, featuring the largest vents available on a full-brim V-Gard hard hat. A unique textured brim ensures added grip when donning and doffing the hat, while the FAS-TRAC® III ratchet 4-point suspension is pre-installed for superior comfort and adjustability. Constructed from high density polyethylene, the V-Gard C1™ hard hat is compatible with all V-Gard full-brim accessories for superior versatility and ease of use.
