Modeled after the popular Biomixer series of "nutating" shakers, the Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ platform rockers provide the perfect 3-dimensional motion for all blot-related applications. Their tilt angle and fixed speed are optimally set for gentle, yet thorough mixing in gel trays, boxes, and other flat vessels. Both models are supplied with autoclavable flat mats and are ideal for blot washes and gel staining/destaining. Designed to conserve bench space, the Mini BlotBoy™ features a platform measuring 10-1/2" L x 7-1/2" W, while the larger BlotBoy™ offers a platform that measures 12" L x 12" W, expanding the usable work surface by 80%. Both models can accept stackable platforms and handle loads up to 2 kg. They are equipped with maintenance-free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.
