Modeled after the popular BioMixer series of "nutating" shakers, the Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ platform rockers provide the perfect 3-dimensional motion for all blot-related applications. Their tilt angle and fixed speed have been optimally set for gentle, yet thorough mixing in gel trays, boxes, and other flat vessels. Both models are supplied with autoclavable flat mats and are designed to conserve bench space, with the Mini BlotBoy™ featuring a 10-1/2" L x 7-1/2" W inch platform and the larger BlotBoy™ offering a 12" L x 12" W inch platform, expanding the usable work surface by 80%. They can accept stackable platforms and handle loads up to 2kg, equipped with maintenance-free brushless motors and safe for use in cold rooms and incubators. Key features include optimized speed and tilt for gel blotting, washing and staining, tri-directional motion for thorough, gentle mixing, and the availability of optional stacking platforms.
