Modeled after the popular BioMixer series of "nutating" shakers, the Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ provide the perfect 3-dimensional motion for all blot-related applications, with a tilt angle and fixed speed optimized for gentle yet thorough mixing in gel trays, boxes, and other flat vessels. Both models come equipped with autoclavable flat mats and are designed to conserve bench space, featuring a 10-1/2"L x 7-1/2"W inch platform for the Mini BlotBoy™ and a larger 12"L x 12"W inch platform for the BlotBoy™, which expands the usable work surface by 80%. Capable of accepting stackable platforms, both models can handle loads up to 2kg and are powered by maintenance-free brushless motors, ensuring safe operation in cold rooms and incubators. Key features include optimized speed and tilt for gel blotting, washing, and staining, as well as tri-directional motion for thorough, gentle mixing.
