Benchmark's new Roto-Mini™ series of variable speed rotating mixers provides a wide range of mixing capabilities, suitable for various laboratory applications including resuspension, protein binding, nucleic acid purification, histochemistry, and hybridization. The mixers feature interchangeable tube holders that accommodate all common tube sizes from 0.5ml to 50ml, with adjustable motion ranging from vertical (end over end) mixing to horizontal (rolling or hybridization style) mixing. The Roto-Mini™ rotators are available in the "Plus" configuration, which includes variable speed control from 5 to 70 RPM, a "Mix" function for rotating in combination with oscillations to enhance mixing, a "Pause" function for intermittent stops during rotation, and a "Rock" function that provides a gentle rocking motion. Additionally, the Plus models come with an extra rocking platform measuring 4.5 x 3 inches and a 96 x 0.2ml tube/strip/plate holder designed for mixing PCR vessels in the "Mix" (oscillating) mode.
