Benchmark's new Roto-Mini™ series of rotating mixers provides a wide range of mixing capabilities, suitable for various laboratory applications including resuspension, protein binding, nucleic acid purification, histochemistry, and hybridization. The mixers come with interchangeable tube holders that accommodate all common tube sizes from 0.5 ml to 50 ml. The mixing motion can be adjusted between vertical (end over end) mixing and horizontal (rolling or hybridization style) mixing. Roto-Mini™ rotators are available in the "Plus" configuration, which includes additional features such as variable speed from 5 to 70 RPM, a "Mix" function that combines rotation with oscillations for increased mixing, a "Pause" function for intermittent stops during rotation, and a "Rock" function that provides a gentle rocking motion (see-saw). The Plus models also include an additional rocking platform measuring 4.5 x 3 inches and a 96 x 0.2 ml tube/strip/plate holder for mixing PCR vessels in the "Mix" (oscillating) mode. The kit includes tube holders for common tube sizes and is designed with advanced shaking/mixing modes: Mix (oscillating), Pause, and Rock.
