Modeled after the popular BioMixer series of "nutating" shakers, these platform rockers provide the perfect three-dimensional motion for all blot-related applications. Their tilt angle and fixed speed have been optimally set for gentle, yet thorough mixing in gel trays, boxes, and other flat vessels. The Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ are supplied with autoclavable flat mats and are ideal for blot washes and gel staining/destaining. Both models have been designed to conserve bench space, with the Mini BlotBoy™ featuring a 10-1/2"L x 7-1/2"W inch platform and the larger BlotBoy™ offering a 12"L x 12"W inch platform, expanding the usable work surface by 80%. They can accept stackable platforms and handle loads up to 2kg, while both models are equipped with maintenance-free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators. Key features include optimized speed and tilt for gel blotting, washing, and staining, as well as tri-directional motion for thorough and gentle mixing.
