The Multitherm Touch, an advanced variant of the popular Multitherm, offers a broad temperature range suitable for applications from DNA denaturation to maintaining samples at a cool 4°C. With an expanded speed range of up to 3,000 RPM, this unit features a large full-color touch screen that simplifies the programming and monitoring of all operating parameters. Users can store up to fifty programs, with each program allowing for five steps, and can customize settings with features such as adjustable ramp rates, interval and directional mixing, and preheat options. A "short" button enables immediate mixing at maximum speed. The kit includes fifteen interchangeable blocks capable of accommodating sample volumes from 0.2 mL to 50 mL, as well as various plate types, which can be swapped without tools and are automatically recognized by the software. Insulation serves to protect users from hot surfaces while maintaining block temperature, and the optional heated lid can be utilized with tubes up to 5 mL and microplates to prevent condensation by warming the air inside the tube. The Multitherm Touch is designed for ease of use and reliability, backed by a 2-year warranty. Note that blocks and heated lids are sold separately.
