The DryChill™ cooling blocks are engineered to ensure the safe storage of samples on the lab bench, preventing degradation from temperature increases or fluctuations. Unlike traditional ice buckets, these blocks operate without ice and are designed to minimize condensation, providing a convenient and mess-free cooling solution. Each block is filled with a proprietary gel refrigerant that maintains cold temperatures (but not freezing) for extended periods. When the block begins to warm, a visual indicator changes from purple to pink, alerting the user. The system includes four blocks compatible with a variety of commonly used research tubes and plates, along with a Magic Clamp™ universal platform for flasks and tube racks measuring 16 x 16.5 inches. Key features include ice-free and stable cooling for sample tubes, unique design to reduce condensation, the ability to maintain temperatures of 4°C for up to 200 minutes, compatibility with four different tube sizes up to 50 mL, and a visual temperature indicator.
