The MultiTherm™ shaker is a temperature-controlled vortexer designed for a variety of molecular biology applications, featuring a compact footprint of 8 x 11 in. It is compatible with popular tubes and plates, accommodating up to six 50 ml tubes. The device offers temperature control ranging from 0 to 100°C, with speed, time, and temperature settings displayed on an LCD that shows both actual and selected values simultaneously. Integral over-temperature control enhances safety and ensures sample integrity, while precision contoured wells provide uniform thermal transfer. The MultiTherm™ shaker is available in two models: heat/cool or heat only, and includes a sequence link function that allows for linking or repeating programs, available only in the heat/cool model. Exchangeable blocks for tube sizes ranging from 0.2 ml to 50 ml are sold separately, and the materials used in its construction vary.
