The MultiTherm™ shaker is a temperature-controlled vortexer designed for a variety of molecular biology applications, featuring a compact footprint of 8 x 11 in. It accommodates all popular tubes and plates, including up to six 50 ml tubes. The device offers temperature control ranging from 0 to 100°C, with speed, time, and temperature settings displayed continuously on an LCD, which shows both actual and selected values. It includes integral over-temperature control for enhanced safety and sample integrity. The shaker is compatible with exchangeable blocks that support tube sizes from 0.2 to 50 ml, and precise contoured wells ensure uniform thermal transfer. Two models are available: heat/cool or heat only, with a sequence link function that allows for linking or repeating programs (available only on the HC model). Blocks are sold separately, and the material used in construction varies.
