The MultiTherm™ shaker is a temperature-controlled vortexer designed for various molecular biology applications, featuring a compact footprint of 8 x 11 in. It accommodates a range of popular tubes and plates, including up to six 50 ml tubes. The device allows for precise temperature control ranging from 0 to 100°C, with an LCD display that continuously shows both actual and selected speed, time, and temperature settings. Integral over-temperature control enhances safety and maintains sample integrity. It offers exchangeable blocks suitable for tube sizes from 0.2 ml to 50 ml, with precision contoured wells for uniform thermal transfer. Available in two models, heat/cool or heat only, the HC model includes a sequence link function to link or repeat programs. Blocks are sold separately, and the material used varies.
