Hybex™ glass media storage bottles are manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass, known for its superior chemical resistance, making them suitable for storing reagents, culture media, biological fluids, and various aqueous and nonaqueous solutions. With a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), these bottles provide exceptional temperature resistance, tolerating temperatures from -70 to 500°C, which allows for repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves, and dry heat sterilization chambers. Each bottle features easy-to-read, permanent graduation markings and a large labeling area for identification. All Hybex™ media bottles come equipped with a drip-free sealing ring and a standard blue polypropylene GL45 sealing cap (with the 50 ml bottle having a GL32 cap). Additionally, options for cap colors include green, purple, white, and yellow, or an assortment pack containing two of each color is available. The bottles are supplied in packs of 10 and offer the attributes of being autoclavable, reusable, and breakage resistant, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards.
