Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to varying shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 6 adjustable shelves. The shelves are designed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves, made of cold rolled sheet steel, incorporate roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced durability, with welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface accommodates shelf dividers with punch holes spaced at 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes have punch holes on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
