Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line designed to meet the demands of most industrial applications while offering the versatility required for modern facilities. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, each shelving unit is engineered for durability and ease of assembly and installation, featuring two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamped in the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, showcasing roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. The welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. Each corner is lapped and resistance welded, providing a sturdy corner that enhances overall shelf strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers from left to right for 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Both front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
