Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is engineered for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped in the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, showcasing roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with resistance welded return bends underneath, offering structural integrity with welds spaced 3" on center for enhanced strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure rigidity and reinforced strength. The top surfaces are punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes feature holes on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched to accommodate accessories, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to absorb impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
