Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered to meet the demands of industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and integrity for daily use throughout its lifetime. The free-standing shelving features a design that allows for quick assembly and installation, with two ribs formed along the horizontal front and rear edges, and identification stamped on the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, with welds spaced 3" on center to enhance strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added stability. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers from left to right for 36" wide shelves measuring 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes have punchings on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. The shelving is rated for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
