Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving features 6 adjustable shelves, formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are made of cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, equipped with return bends resistance welded to the underside for added durability, while welds spaced 3" on center provide maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded, enhancing the rigidity and strength of the shelf. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to protect against impact loads. This shelving is rated for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
