Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution designed for industrial applications and modern facilities, constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel for durability and longevity. This free-standing shelving unit features fast and easy assembly and installation, with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped identification in the top left corner. Class 1 shelves are crafted with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, equipped with resistance welded return bends on the underside for additional strength. The welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum stability, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, reinforcing the structure. The top surface is pre-punched for shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes feature 3" center punching. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces allow for the attachment of accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
