Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for fast and easy assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the unit includes 6 adjustable shelves. The shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are also fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, equipped with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside. The welds are spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All corners are lapped and resistance welded for rigidity and additional strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to absorb impact loads. This shelving can support uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
