Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving features 8 adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, which are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, incorporating return bends that are resistance welded to the shelf's underside, with welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for enhanced rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, while the tubular front edge protects against impact loads, making the shelving suitable for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
