Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, each unit features six adjustable shelves. The shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are also made from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside, while welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched to allow for shelf dividers to be attached from left to right on 1-1/2" centers on the 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are equipped with punch-outs for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. This shelving system supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
