Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Made from cold rolled sheet steel, the unit features 8 adjustable shelves and includes class 2 shelves fabricated from extra heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges. The shelves are stamped on the top left corner for identification and have welds spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid corner and additional strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for sizes 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, allowing for uniformly distributed loads up to 1,200 pounds.
