Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered for industrial applications and modern facilities, designed to withstand daily use without integrity loss. The free standing shelving units are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, allowing for fast assembly and installation. Each unit features shelves fabricated from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, and return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for added strength. The shelves have welds spaced 3" on center, and sides that are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, ensuring a rigid structure. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18" and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessories, and the tubular front edge protects against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 800 pounds.
