Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves tailored to your shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold-rolled sheet steel, it features eight adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, stamped in the top left corner for identification. The Class 2 shelves are made from extra heavy gauge cold-rolled sheet steel, showcasing roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside for maximum strength, with welds spaced at 3 inches on center. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3 inches centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 1,200 pounds.
