Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 8 adjustable shelves that are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, showcasing roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, enhancing the rigidity and strength of the shelf. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers, front and back, specifically for 36" wide with 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, allowing for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
