Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a complete shelving line engineered for durability and versatility in industrial applications. Each shelving unit is crafted from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring resilience for daily use over a lifetime. The free-standing shelving features a design that allows for quick assembly and installation, with formed ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped identification in the top left corner. Class 1 shelves have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside. Welds are strategically spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. The shelf corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface includes punch holes for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep; other sizes have punch holes on 3" centers. Both the front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment. The tubular front edge offers protection against impact loads, and the shelving is designed to support uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
