Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The shelving is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel and includes 6 adjustable shelves. The shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge, with identification stamped on the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside, and welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance structural integrity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
