Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for quick and straightforward assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold-rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes 6 adjustable shelves. The design features two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamps on the top left corner. Class 2 shelves are made from extra heavy gauge cold-rolled sheet steel, incorporating roll-formed rectangular tubular-shaped front and rear edges with return bends, which are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength. Welds are spaced 3 inches on center to maximize durability, while the sides are triple-flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded for rigid construction and additional shelf strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers for shelves measuring 36 inches wide by 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep, with other sizes punched on 3-inch centers. Both front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment. The tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads and supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 1,200 pounds.
