Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 6 adjustable shelves. Each shelf features two formed ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and is stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, incorporating roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside, and spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers on 36" wide shelves, with depths of 12", 15", 18", and 24"; other sizes feature 3" center punching. Additionally, both front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 800 pounds.
