Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered to withstand the rigors of industrial applications while offering the flexibility required for modern facilities. The free-standing shelving units are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel and designed for quick assembly and installation. Each shelf features formed ribs along the horizontal edges, with identification stamped on the top left corner. The Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel, incorporating roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends, which are resistance welded to the underside, ensuring superior durability. Welds are spaced 3 inches on center to maximize strength, and the sides are triple flanged to create a strong channel. The corners are lapped and resistance welded for added strength. The top surface is punched for shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes have punch holes on 3" centers. Furthermore, the front and rear surfaces feature punch holes for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to guard against impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
