Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution engineered to meet the demands of various industrial applications while offering versatility for contemporary facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability for everyday use over its lifetime. The Hi-Tech® free standing shelving design allows for quick and easy assembly and installation, featuring formed ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges with identification stamps located on the top left corner. The Class 0 shelves are crafted with roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges, which include return bends resistance welded to the shelf's underside, with welds spaced 3" on center to enhance strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is punched for the attachment of shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched to accommodate accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
