Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the unit features six adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 2 shelves are made from extra heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, equipped with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, all resistance welded to the underside for added strength. Welds are spaced 3" on center for enhanced stability, while sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, ensuring a rigid structure and increased shelf strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide shelves with depths of 12", 15", 18", and 24", and on 3" centers for all other sizes. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. This shelving system supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 1,200 pounds.
