Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specifically engineered for rapid assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, it includes 6 adjustable shelves, which are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are designed from cold rolled sheet steel, incorporating roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside, with welds spaced 3 inches on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers, front and back, for the 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes are punched on 3-inch centers. Both front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, suitable for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
