Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is crafted from cold rolled sheet steel and features a design that enables fast and easy assembly and installation. This shelving system is available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. The kit includes six adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges. The shelves are stamped on the top left corner for easy identification. Class 0 shelves are specifically designed with roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside, with welds spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces allow for the attachment of accessories, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads. This shelving system is rated for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
