Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered for industrial applications, offering the durability required for daily use while maintaining structural integrity over time. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, facilitating fast and easy assembly and installation. The design features include two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamped in the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are fabricated with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with resistance welded return bends on the underside for added strength. The welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum support, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded for enhanced rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Both front and rear surfaces are designed for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge offers protection against impact loads. The shelving is rated for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds, providing reliable performance for various storage needs.
