Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered to handle various industrial applications while providing the versatility required for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is made from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and integrity for lifelong daily use. The free-standing shelving features shelves constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular-shaped front and rear edges, reinforced with return bends resistance welded to the underside. Welds are spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface of the shelves is designed with punched holes for attaching dividers at 1-1/2" centers for the 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep options, while other sizes are punched at 3" centers. Additionally, both the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and a tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads. The shelving supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds, making it suitable for a wide range of storage needs.
