Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with options for medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to cater to diverse shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes 8 adjustable shelves, each designed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped in the top left corner for easy identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from the same cold rolled sheet steel, characterized by roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for added durability, with weld spacing at 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to further enhance the rigidity and strength of the shelf. The top surface is pre-punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers from left to right for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. This shelving is capable of supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
