Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, this shelving unit includes 6 adjustable shelves. Each shelf is formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and is stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength; welds are spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded, providing a rigid structure and additional strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers with 1-1/2" centers from left to right on front and back for the sizes 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. This shelving is used for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds, ensuring durability and reliability for various storage needs.
